Director
Joel is a director at BDM Leather & Canvas and has been a part of the company since 2000. He holds a Certificate III in Textile Fabrication and has developed many distinct skills from his experience in the textiles industry. He enjoys using his expertise, attention to detail and experience in designing new products, sourcing quality materials, engaging with clients, and overcoming challenges.
Tiana
Director
Tiana is a director at BDM Leather & Canvas and oversees accounts and human resources. She has been with BDM for over 17 years and during her time here, she has helped grow the business with her knowledge and understanding of the inner workings of BDM.
Office Staff
Anita
Anita manages accounts and administration, being well qualified in accounting software and holding a Diploma of Business. She is also one of the staff members that will liaise with clients both on the phone and in person. Her friendly and helpful manner ensures that you will receive the best possible service.
Latoya
Latoya is another of our kind and bubbly receptionists. You can have confidence that she will direct your enquiry in the right way. Her creativity and pleasant disposition is highly valued by our staff and customers.
Bernie
Bernie is a highly valued member of the office staff team. He looks after numerous areas that are critical to the success of the business, including order processing, freight, inventory and client communication.
Machinists
Nida
Nida has been part of the BDM team since 2003. She leads the team with her expertise and over 40 years of industry experience- making nothing impossible for her to achieve. Her pride, precision and workmanship makes her truly valued and unique to BDM.
Lynda
Lynda brings over 25 years of experience in textiles to our team, making her expertise very valuable. Lynda's pleasant and easy to get along with personality makes her a pleasure to work along with.
Xiu Xiu
It’s a pleasure to have Xiu Xiu as part of our team with her sewing experience and her friendly smile.
Brielle
Brielle has many years in the textile trade. She brings a happy demeanour to the workplace and we really enjoy having her as part of our team.
Hannah
Hannah is our newest team member and is learning the basics of industrial sewing to add to her skill set. Her kind and quiet nature is a lovely addition to our team.
Factory Staff
Michele
Michele has been with us for many many years. She has invaluable heavy machining and overall textiles experience and is a valuable part of the team.
Ken
Starting as a factory hand, Ken has worked his way up to looking after our industrial client's needs - from design right through to manufacture. He has a hard-working attitude that reflects in his workmanship with all heavy duty jobs.
Tom
Tom is our newest and valued team member. He assists the heavy industrial division and is learning the ropes very quickly. We enjoy his can-do attitude to the tasks presented to him.
Security
Enzo
Enzo joined the BDM Family in 2010 as the company's very first security officer. His prior role as a security guard for two children has given him the skills needed for the job. Enzo spends most of the day sleeping, scabbing for food, following his master around and letting us know who he likes and dislikes.
